Perfect Purchase I ordered this particular shoe because I have had surgery on both of my feet. I need to wear shoes that are comfortable which this shoe is. However most important is that I need a shoe that keeps my big toe seperated from my other toes to prevent the toes from curving again. This will aid in preventing me from further surgery and recurrence of bunions.This shoe is perfect for my needs. December 16, 2010
Best Designed Sandals The best sandal design of all time, so comfy that you can sleep wearing them. Mine have lasted years through dog walking, hiking, water, working on my property, evening outings, resort travels, biking......I can even run in them! I dislike constrictive clothing and accessories especially thong style sandals and this wraps around the big toe in sheer comfort. This is the ONLY summer footwear that I will ever wear! best casual sandal ever I began buying Columbia Kea's a few years ago and have worn them everywhere in total comfort. I have very narrow feet, and these sandals fit the best of any I've tried; they stay on and they have great cushioned soles. I have duplicate pairs of colors for home and work: black, dark brown, stone, white, khaki green. What I'd like is for more new colors to be offered: four or five summers ago there was a bright green and even a cheerful shade of purple (that my sister bought). I'd really like to buy a nice shade of true navy blue that would go well with denim capris. May 5, 2012

Kea Sandal (Bark) - Comfortable, Excellent Fit What a great, comfortable sandal. Great fit! Have trouble buying shoes and especially sandals. I was in a popular shoe store in Bermuda having trouble finding a sandal that my foot won't slip out off (haven't had much luck this summer with sandals). A customer in the same shoe store has the same problem (straps are always to loose)and was wearing the Kea sandal and suggested that I go online and order the Kea sandal which I did (and she said it would be comfortable which it is). Kea vs. Nevis Thong For the last 5 years, I have been searching stores for a white Nevis Thong. About 3 weeks ago, I found the Kea on line. This was the first time I purchased shoes on line. Fits like a glove These are the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn. I now have all the colors (2 in my favorite, the blue. Kea Flip Flop I haven't bought Columbia shoes before, but this is the most superior flip flop I have ever purchased! The cushioning on the sole really supports my foot, and the way that the shoe holds the toe in place is very comfortable. The shoes are obviously well made with attention to the shape of a foot, an unusual thing these days! solution to right/left size difference This model must never be changed, or I will be lost.History suggests that there is some negative, communication between manufacturers and my things that I have come to depend on. kea Disappointing shoe. Although they are attractive and look like the Nevis they do not have the comfort of the Nevis. i wish they would bring the Nevis back. It had a roomier foot bed and this one is cut smaller. Not the shoe the Nevis was. Too bad. With such a great shoe they should have continued it. June 10, 2011
Not the same Columbia sandal I have 2 pairs of the Kea sandals that I purchased 5 years or more ago. The design has changed and does not hold my heel in the sandal when I walk. I compared it to my old sandals and the inside of the sandal is shorter in length and thats the reason it does not hold my foot/heel in the sandal. June 5, 2011

Perfect sandal These have a soft; supportive toe that straightens my toe relieving bunion pain; yet are so cute I wear them with everything and everywhere. They have a soft in between the toe feel; not the usual stiff painful toe post sandals. They have good arch support and there is no break in period. I have purchased several pairs of these and almost fainted with the consistent fit of perfect. I hope they never stop making these. Happy Mother-in-Law Last minute Christmas gift for my live in mother-in-law. At first she thought they were a little snug but over the next few days they broke in nicely and she loves them. not as comfortable as the nevis Being a very big fan of the nevis sandal which was easily the best sandal made, I am disappointed in the Kea which makes 2 subtle changes to the nevis style rendering it uncomfortable ( previous reviewers have described it as too tight ) for those of us with slightly higher arches.The slightly longer inner toe post ( 2cm ) means that you push your foot down further to accomodate the joint and the inner toe post rubs between the first and second toes.The slightly higher ( 3 cm ) cut of the cross foot strap means that it catches on the upper foot arch bone and chafes despite the soft material making it uncomfortable compared to the previos nevis which ad a narrower toe post and lowered cut cross strap.I had the nevis in all colours and fortunately bought extra when available. I did want to buy for others who started wearing nevis on my recommendation but now unlikely. Pity....... November 20, 2010

She said that she had had hers for a couple of years and didn't know if I could still get this particular style. I went on line and there they were. I absolutely love them. Kea sandals Just received two more pairs(blue and brown) of these wonderful sandals, I now have seven pairs! Boats/Docks/Dog Walking Sandal This is my second pair of this particular sandal. I wear them on boats and docks and while walking my dog. Where I live the sidewalks when wet are very slippery, and being a senior, I don't wish to fall and break something. Too Tight I've purchased about 15 pairs of Columbia sandals over the years and I'm sorry to say this style is the only one that has disappointed me. The Kea's cushioning is fine, but it is too tight across the top of my foot and digs into the skin. I love my Nevis and Altamont sandals, but I can't find them anymore. July 27, 2010
tight I got the correct size and my feet are by no needs wide , but the sandle cuts into the top of my foot and drives my foot back so that my heel is nearly hitting the ground July 21, 2010
Extremely Comfortable I love these sandles! I have a narrow foot and sometimes have problems with sandles being too loose, which causes my foot to slide.
