I snowshoe with these in the middle of winter with a heavyweight baselayer. Into late Winter and early spring I just wear the pants. I can't say enough. I use these in the high country snowshoeing in Colorado. I've been anywhere from -5 to snow storms in these and have not had any problems.

these are awesome pants! they are sturdy and warm, and i love that they cinch at the bottom cuffs. very comfortable weather your summiting a local peak or out on the town.
