Inspired by the 3 Sisters Marathon in Oregon, (where athletes of dubious sanity run up and down three peaks in under seven hours), we created the Peakfreak Outdry, which combines running shoe insights with technical performance and waterproof/breathable comfort. Ideal for fast approach, run-hike or any outdoor that requires a "less is more" attitude, it features our revolutionary Techlite® Fit™ system, which combines a soft internal core surrounded by a more supportive frame for a superior conforming fit. In the midsole, our new Techlite Fluidframe™ uses three different Techlite densities for incredible stability and support in the midfoot. A midfoot shank also provides extra support, while a forefoot rock guard protects against bruising. The Omni-Grip® rubber outsole is fully loaded with a heel crash zone and multi-directional lugs strategically sized and placed for extra grip while you navigate tricky descents.
