I want to preface this by saying Columbia is doing the right thing to rectify a bad situation, but this is the second pair of shoes THIS YEAR that I've had to return for manufacturing defects. The first pair fit great and I wore them for about two months before the two part soles started to separate. Sent them back and was given a merchandise credit. I didn't want to drive over an hour to an outlet and the selection at the NYC store is poor so I took a chance and ordered a new pair online. I hadn't had them more than a week before the metal grommets (eyelets) began to pop out! I was a devout Merrill customer for years and was at an outlet earlier this year...needed a new pair of shoes and thought I'd give Columbia a try. Problem is that I can't seem to keep them on my feet for more than a few months before they start falling apart and now I'm stuck with this credit that I need to use. Guy's I LOVE your outerware...your shoes, not so much.
