About The Russian National Freestyle Ski Team
Columbia has been the proud performance apparel supplier to the Russian National Freestyle Ski Team since 2012, including outfitting for the athletes competing at home during the 2014 Sochi Olympic Winter Games.
The highlight of the team's achievements at the 2014 Olympics was when Alexandr Smyshlyaev won a Bronze medal for men's moguls, resulting in the country's first appearance on the moguls podium in twenty years.
The Russian team consists of world-class freestyle ski athletes competing in all five disciplines. Their mogul team currently uses the Columbia Parallel Grid jacket, specifically designed in the national colors for the athletes competing during the 2014-2015 FIS World Cup season.
Other Columbia apparel worn by the team includes the Bugaboo II Pant, the Zonafied Softshell and Omni-Heat Reflective Baselayer.
