Very comfortable, but leaks after 6 monthsI had a pair of Peakfreak XCRSN in the past, but they are worn out and started to leak (after 18 months). As I have problems with my feet, I decided to go for these new style boots. I have had these boots for 6 months and they have started to leak already. I have done a few local walks on the downs (no real rocks and relatively flat) and one longer walk on the Routeburn Track in New Zealand, so hardly that much of a challenge for a boot. They have started to leak around the seams and where the boot joins the sole, just a little, but enough to know that I would have wet feet on a proper Scotland jaunt. I have been using wax on them to help with the water resistance, but I think there are too many seams and overlay bits on this design. They are light and very very comfortable, so if you dont care about getting the waterproofing you paid for, they will be fine for you. I cannot get these to stop leaking and I need them for Scotland in the wet, so I need to switch brands.
