If you’re a year-round runner, then you need a pair of cold-weather running gloves with thermal reflectors that also wick. The silicon on the palm lets you grip a digital device and the touch-screen compatible fingertip lets you control said device.
Breathable material with little silver dots that reflect body heat.
Pulls moisture away from the body so sweat can evaporate quickly.

These pairs are not recommended to be worn just alone as they do not stop wind and/or chill. Also it does not seem to operate touch screen. Out of hundred tries, I was able to get 1-2 successful attempts doing anything on phone.

On those below zero days, my son absolutely loved his new gloves. He said his gloves kept his hands very warm and did not cause them to sweat. He was very pleased with my purchase.

Very disappointed with the touch-screen feature. Good looking glove but runs a little small and basically no touch screen feature. I personally returned mine

Rated 2 out of 5 by Verycold Great function, poorly made
I bought these gloves in my quest to fight the winter cold this year. I purchased an interchange jacket, bugaboo boots, and these gloves together.
I loved the gloves the moment I took them from the box. They are thin, lightweight, warm, and work great with my phone.
Despite all of this, its obvious that they are very poorly constructed. I have warn at the most 5 times either to simply drive or walk across campus and already the stitching on the seams is coming undone. Also, the stitching in the palms is tearing and producing little stray threads. If less than daily activity causes them to tear, I hardly feel like they'll last the winter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Bob1954 Takes getting used to
Tried um out yesterday morning. 38 degrees with a breeze. Finger tips and around the edges weren't cold, but they weren't warm either for the first 10 min. Had to keep wiggling my fingers..I was walking. Haven't tries them out jogging yet; Maybe they'll work faster. Also, I've been wearing my NorthFace Wind Stoppers for so long, these just felt weird at first

Rated 4 out of 5 by DickStrong They look so good that I don't mind that they don't really work
These are some sexy gloves. I have received several compliments on them on the few times I have worn them. They are good to wear on a day it's kind of chilly but not necessarily cold. They do not work with the phone or tablet at all! I have to remove them to be able to answer my phone. If you are looking for some good looking gloves I recommend them but if you want a pair of gloves that will let you text these are not it.
I have the black pair and I am back to order the gray pair to use in the Spring.

Gloves are awesome I really like them. They keep your hands warm with out the bulky sizes of normal gloves. They do work good to for trying to use your phone at the same time when you have them on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NiwotSteve Warmer than Previous Columbia Gloves
A year or two ago, I had purchased a pair of light gloves from Columbia. That pair function well in cooler weather but are not sufficiently warm for truly cold winter weather. These gloves are similar in weight but function better in lower temperatures. Still, if you will be outside for longer than 15-30 minutes in cold temperatures (below 20, in Colorado), they are better used as glove warmers under beefier gloves. Fit: I normally buy large sized gloves. These only came in 2 sizes. I ordered the small/medium size based on the size guidance on columbia.com thinking my wife or daughters could use them if too small for me. They are slightly tight fit to get the hand past the narrower wrist opening, but otherwise fit fine. Since temperatures on Colorado's front range are rarely bitterly cold, these are now my daily wear gloves. (Due to multiple knee surgeries, I no longer run. I cannot address their use in that context but would expect them to do well for runners.) Only con is the "touch sensitive screen" features are hit/miss for working. I take the glove off to use my phone.
