Love the look of this hat, but it runs large.
I purchased the Columbia Wrangle Mountain Hat in a small, and it fits perfectly. I feel like this fits like a true medium, if not a large.

This hat does run large. I love that it sits above the ears and vents well.

Rated 2 out of 5 by RxDG Nice Hat but Large
Ordered two hats in the same size. This hat was way too large making it unwearable. If the fit is not true to size, the return should be pre-paid. So I would not order again. I would just find a store to affirm the size is corret.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nycgator Great hat for big heads!
I have a very large head so it's difficult to find stylish hats that fit me. I love this hat for fit, style and price. I was also impressed with the care that Columbia took to ship the hat to ensure that it would get crushed or lose its shape. It's taken me a LONG time to find a perfect hat like this- thank you!

Rated 4 out of 5 by UplandGuide Great summer hat....
Wear this hat mowing, sitting, fishing, etc. Very comfortable. It does fit a little larger...certainly not a small. But I wear a Medium and it fits nice and is light and airy....very comfortable.
