Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great job Columbia After waiting so long for a jacket without nasty PFC's I finally have one. Columbia has beat all other outdoor companies in introducing a truly environmentally friendly waterproof jacket. Great job! On to the jacket itself- so far so good. In light, medium, or heavy rain it has kept me completely dry. What is amazing is how comfortable it is as far as breatheability. It never feels clammy, always feel fresh and dry with it on. Construction is top-notch, feels very well-made. Zippers feel secure. The white color has not given me any issues in terms of stains or dirt, which I'm not worried about because it should just wipe clean. The material doesn't feel plasticky at all which is what I was afraid of, it actually is comfortable to the touch. Really a great job and a great jacket overall. On the search for a new shell I'll start by saying I hate giving Columbia a bad review, and my experience with this jacket won't deter me from buying other products from them.The jacket is extremely functional. It is basically waterproof while not looking at all like a rain jacket. Have worn it in light rain and snow and no issues with not being dry underneath. I have one issue with this jacket: it's white and it's hard to clean stains and any dirty spots. This ECO type material it's like a magnet for dirt. Don't like this ECO technology.

How to Measure
  • 1. Neck: Measure at the base or thickest part of your neck.
  • 2. Sleeves: Start at the center back of your neck and measure across the shoulder and down to the wrist. Round up to the next even number.
  • 3. Chest/Bust: Measure at the fullest part of the chest, under the armpits and over the shoulder blades, keeping the tape measure firm and level.
  • 4. Waist: Measure around the natural waistline, allowing the tape measure to sit comfortably.
  • 5. Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips.
  • 6. Inseam: Measure from the top of the interior leg to the bottom of the ankle.

How to Measure

    (Before you begin, put on socks the you will use with the footwear you would like to purchase).
  • Fold up at dotted line.
  • Place against a wall or other 90 degree surface.
  • Place heel against fold/wall on flat level surface.
  • Mark the end of the longest toe with a pen or pencil.
  • Measure both feet and use the larger measurement.
  • Read measurement and compare to size chart.
  • When comparing on the size chart, determine the closest larger measurement and use that number to determine your shoe size for your country’s shoe measurement standard.
