The Fast Trek II is a bit lighter than the other Columbia fleece jackets that I have. That makes it ideal for either early spring or fall when it can still get pretty chilly in the morning but warms up throughout the day. It fits a bit tighter around the arms and especially neck as well but still very comfortable overall. The chest pocket is a nice addition and great to store your keys or cards when out and about.
