Men’s Titan Peak™ Convertible Pant is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Water repellant...not waterproof! I'm a Columbia fan and own a wide variety of garments and gear. In preparation for a summer hiking trip to Norway, I purchased the Titan Peak Convertible pants. I was motivated by the fact that I could easily switch to shorts to adapt to the frequently changing temps and conditions that I anticipated on my hikes. I was also attracted to the pants advertised water repellency. The pants convert well as stated. However, while making the short hike to Pulpit Rock, conditions degraded to what could best be described as a mild Gale storm with driving rain. The pants failed the water repellency test miserably. I was soaked! While they seem to bead up to minor spills, exposure to heavy precip results in soaked fabric. Although they seemed to dry out quickly, I added a good coating of Camp Dry water repellant and feel doing so should enhance water repellency. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pants are glued together So, the pants are glued together, to the zipper. My pair of pants after the second wash became unglued. I am sending them back. Ideally, I am given credit, and I just purchase myself another pair of pants that are not the convertible type. I do have one pair of the non-convertible titan pants, and they are very nice. The only other thing that I wish was that the belt was a bit larger. It is maybe 3/4" thick. ideally the waste would be much larger. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good convertible pants This being my first pair of convertible pants I was a little hesitant, however, they fit perfectly and are really light weight. The zippers take a little practice but work flawless. They also covered the zippered side on the shorts so they don't chafe when hiking. The pants stretch just enough to be comfortable, the zippered section doesn't stretch, so if you have big thighs, or will be wearing a heavy base layer, they may not work for you. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Pants I bought these convertible pants and the regular Titan Peak pants (non-convertible). Both of the pants exceeded my expectations. Very superior quality, fit and feel. The ease of movement and comfort have not been compromised. I wanted something more than the standard light weight nylon hiking/trekking pants, but not to thick or heavy either - these pants fit my needs perfectly. The 10% Elastane coupled with the 90% Nylon provide lots of freedom of movement. The pants are a bit expensive, but if you buy them, you won't be sorry. I tend to be a bit critical and picky - believe me you'll be satisfied. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent pant! Very high quality, with plentiful stretch allowing full range of motion and excellent breathability. Trail-worthy yoga pants for men. One very minor gripe, and I'm sure I'm not alone in this: I carry a knife every day, and it clips onto my pocket for easy access. All the pockets on these pants zip closed, which is great for security but impedes carrying a knife in the way I'm accustomed to. Overall, great product. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the zippered pockets As of late more pants are made with zippers in place of buttons. For me travelling I dont want to worry stuff ,important stuff, falling out of one button pockets. These pants have 3 zippered pockets!!! Good looking pants that is a two in one becoming a pair of shorts. Material will last and quality good so its a homerun for me. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pants has sub par matlerial After two month The material pills so much that I can only use it for gardening or working on my car . I think the fabric on my pants is defective . I lost my bill so I'm out of luck . So if you do buy these pants make sure you hold on to your bill .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I LOVE THESE PANTS I should preface that I am female but found these pants to be a great fit for my body even though they are mens pants. Regardless on who's body they're on, they are awesome! I lived in these in the Amazon Rainforest this summer. They were great for water repellency and for protection from the plants and bugs! I love the material. Very stretchy and moveable. The option of zipping down to the shorts is a huge bonus. I bought my first pair and wore them till I lost too much weight and immediately bought another because I can't live without them!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Hiking/Do-All Pants! I got these pants looking for a good pair of all-day, do-all pants. They are water repellent and have quality construction. I would highly recommend these pants to anyone who is looking for a pair of hiking or do anything pants.
